#488 Appreciate

I have so many friends who are overseas studying at the moment. And honestly, I stalk these people on Facebook. A lot. All the time. Especially when they post up new pictures.

Travelling. It's at the top of my 'To Do' list. Europe is, without a doubt, at the top of the list. And for travelling purposes, I will put aside my city girl attitude and become the outdoor-sy person. Reading and looking at pictures from Hanie's South America adventures, Machu Picchu seems like a place that's so worth the sweat and all the hiking.

When I look at other people's adventures, or hear about them, I can't help but wonder, IF I was born being able to afford travelling whenever I want to, would I not be here right now? Would I not be complaining about wanting to be here, there, everywhere? Would I have marked off a lot of places from the list of places I want to visit?

Don't get me wrong, I love The Parents, and I appreciate that The Mother makes sure we get to go travel at least once a year; if not out of the country, within Malaysia. We've sort of covered the whole of Malaysia already, and that, if you ask me, is already good enough because there are people who has never been to Langkawi, even!

Today's advice is..

Appreciating things that I have is something I obviously, still have to work on. Day in, day out, I still complain about the things that I have, and things that I want but can't have. So, here's to appreciation, and trust that one day, things WILL fall into place, and the puzzle WILL be complete.
