#448 Fashionspiration

I've always been the t-shirt and jeans kinda girl, never the skirts or dresses and high heels kind. But, I do admit that I have this slight obsession, if you may call it, with shoes - be it sneakers or high heels.

It is only recently that I wore a dress for the first time, in public.

And it was not for a performance, or anything like that. It was just a casual day out with my friends, and I decided that maybe that day was the day the dress was going to finally see daylight after being hung in my wardrobe ever since I got it from Amelia. And it was a decision that I'm glad I made.

Fell in love with how I looked the minute I saw myself in the mirror at one of Pavilion's many toilets. Yes, that sounds totally vain, I know. But I thought I looked really nice albeit the dress being a simple brown satin dress with white patterns that hung just above my knees.

Paired with my black flats that has been rotting in my shoe cupboard along with my many other rotting high heels, I thought I looked really simple, yet, decent enough to be in public. My mother would probably disagree with me - the spaghetti top and the length of the dress would probably never make it into her "decent look" book.

It was that particular day that I decided that I needed a wardrobe makeover. And I became determined to clean out my wardrobe and get it re-arranged and whatnot.

Here are some of the looks that I thought would probably be me, on the girly/fashionable side.

That leather jacket! @_@

Those high heels! @_@

I wonder if I came home one day with denim shorts, denim skirts as well as casual dresses, what would my mother say..
